Five Oil Painters who share the love of painting from life, the love of Virginia’s beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, and the joy of capturing that beauty on canvas. These professional artists paint together weekly learning from each other’s unique perspective of the landscape. Their hope is to preserve their impressions of the landscape as a moment captured in time. In order to maintain a minimal environmental impact on the land, they remain a small group and are very grateful to the many landowners who graciously allow private access to their property.
